In a little more detail...
I love digging tools related with reference management, academic web research, and organisation. Firefox is an indispensable tool for scholarly studies, with such plethora of add-ons (-:
My Reviews
ScrapBook AutoSave Improved
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Excellent addition to ScrapBook in both Firefox and SeaMonkey. Pretty obvious explanation of what it does and works as advertised. Thanks to the developer.
Lucifox
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is an excellent add-on, and it gets better and better with every new release. I love how it works with e-book catalogues, especially on feedbooks, displaying all covers, metadata, etc. in a beautiful interface. I also like how it allows to add these books to your own library. And it is really excellent to be able to produce ebooks from rss feeds, this is genius! What would be also nice is to be able to add bookmarks (and maybe annotations - pleease:) to the ebooks.
Thanks very much to the developer.. This is really a very essential tool for anyone else who likes reading.
Simple Timer
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Very nice and very well executed add-on. It is really simple to use and its simplicity doesn't mean it lacks features; on the contrary. This little clock has lots of alarm features with a very well executed interface and a bunch of customizable options. Very much recommended, kudos to the developer(s):)
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5).Zotero
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Excellent tool for anyone who likes to make research on any subject (not only academic:).. I use it for all sorts of curious web surfing as well as for academic researches. Zotero also has an extension for OpenOffice.org to export bibliographic references, which is a lifesaver. Can't wait for its upgrade to ff3; hope it comes soon:))
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.3).To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
