CloseReviews for mms Auto Correct by Michael Pachta
Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I really appreciate the author's efforts to make this add-on work again. Because for me, mmsAutoCorrect is actually an essential and crucial tool. I make so many typing errors (I have big hands, so I often hit two keys at the same time, for example, or I accidentally swap letters, like "nohting" or "instaed"). I really miss those days when mmsAutocorrect was still working. I hope that Medvezhonok will be able to fix it. There is no alternative to mmsAutocorrect so far. Go, Medvezhonok, go! :-)

I noticed another bug that sometimes occurs (V. 1.0.3). When I misspell a word (and the auto-correction takes place) the corrected word does not appear where the misspelled word was typed. Instead, the *whole* text I typed before is shifted deeper one line and the corrected word appears in the now empty top line of the editor window. Although this is annoying I would consider this as a minor bug since it only happens quite rarely.

Some people report that they cannot add new words because the respective buttons ("Add" and "Save List") are grayed out.
To activate these buttons just click on a random word inside the list of words that show misspelled words together with their respective corrections. You will notice that at least the "Delete" button, which was grayed out as well, becomes active now.
Now click into the "Replace" field, delete the word that has appeared there (it's the random word you clicked before) and enter your new misspelled word. Then click into the second field (labeled "With"), delete the word inside and enter your new correction. Both the "Add" button and the "Save List" button will be active now.
This is obviously a minor bug. I hope it will be fixed in the near future.
