Download YouTube Videos as MP4
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Have been wondering why i cant dl 480p anymore, and looked around for another addon to do it, found 'Ant Video Downloader' which used to only dl to flv, but upon asking it to dl a 480p mp4, a message banner appeared saying it needed ffmpeg, and agreeing to install it, it auto downloaded & installed without needing a restart, and just as you describe the video downloaded as two streams, then created the named mp4 as a 3rd instance. Just mentioning that as a working example you might try to replicate for this addon, and anyone else for a workaround to add that functionality in the meantime. Cheers

Rated 5 out of 5 stars
am i looking at it right that the only difference between Dom Inspector plus 2.0.15.1 and standard DOM inspector 2.0.14 are
the extra menu box model plus and horizontal scrollbars in #trDOMTree instead of the window columns resizing to fit?
im not proficient enough to understand or use box model info so only the scrollbars appeal, but worth using just for that
Element Inspector
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
makes domi really accssable, i tried domi a couple years ago and found it to abstract to find anything, but element inspector makes it intuitive. Thanks
Btw its also possible to have this open Domi in the sidebar if you install Omni Sidebar and More In Content UI + or a new tab with the latter
Image Zoom

have to rate this low even tho its a great idea cause ive found it impossible to use, and couldnt understand the setup options, so hoped the default configuration would be ok, but its not, theres caveats to what happens when you resize images even just clicking the plus icon to enlarge them as you normally can without this addon, where images will always get locked on the enlarged size or the smaller size until you choose a custom image size from the context menu, but even that doesnt seem to show correct sizes, so i dont even know how to choose 100% to get 100%. Just seems to have too many features that screw with the funtionality

always glad to see this instead of the normal error page, having it auto reloads also a great feature. btw ive also made a port of this for Palemoon if you goto http://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3365&p=19175 - two versions with one alittle smaller than the regular FF logo, the other alittle bigger, and gave it some shadowing, so not a flat white background (its a diy replacement of the one file in this addon so still need this)
edit, lol, i never even read the description of this addon, im embarrassed. Well at the link above, ive uploaded images of the templates used, so they can be uploaded to the custom generator, anyway. I'll mention the overlook at the forum page to clarify. thanks
Minimize On Start and Close
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
edit, have to say this is a very useful addon, really like having the browser minimize on startup, and being able to minimize from the Esc keys also great, really intuitive option to have
to iynque above, if its triggering a popup that your about to close xx number of tabs, like its going to close Firefox instead of minimize, thats just cause youve got the Options/Tabs "Warn me when closing window with multiple tabs" ticked. Youll notice if you click "Cancel" on that popup, it proceeds to minimize tho. Untick that option and itll minimize without any more
Mozilla Archive Format, with MHT and Faithful Save
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Very handy way to save pages, i never used the webpage complete option to save pages and this alot easier than website clone software ive tried. But has a minor flaw imo: when you click "Save Tabs In Archive As" to show the open tabs, if you look closely (and after the fact will realize) the tabs arent automatically ordered the same as theyre opened onscreen, so wont be saved in the same order.
Took a few days to realize you can click on the "Location" header to change the save order BUT youve calibrated it to toggle like 4 or 5 different orders, and is tricky telling them apart. So suggest instead of toggling the Location bar randomly finding the save order you want, to add something like labeled check boxes instead. Still a great addon tho. Thanks
@jadd above, HTTrack is what ive got, its very complicated to use and the default settings dont allow you to capture much of a website or guess what parts itll try to clone. There are so many rules to use it properly think you need to be expert to gaurantee itll do what you ask it, even on simple sites that are self contained. Ill keep trying with it in future, but dont consider it an easy option like MAF
Add-ons Manager Context Menu
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Its always seemed strange Firefox extensions dont link back to their addons page, and been looking for an addon like this to give the extensions menus that funtionality,
Alotof addons have probably gone under appreciated for lack of this basic info, makes finding them again that much easier. Thanks
btw also recommend "Cleanest Addon Manager" increasing the number of extensions shown on screen, compliments this addon very well
Woody Persona

Agree, very relaxing warm theme to look at, and compliments menus/tabs well
Print pages to Pdf
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
while this is great, the open source "wkhtmltopdf library" is pretty limited in what it can reproduce accurately
And ive yet to figure out how to edit the page to remove/change onscreen elements. Havent read alotof the user manual, but still worth noting those edit options arent intuitive, cant use them till you understand
Also there doesnt seem to be a way to reproduce a webpage at 100% size, its always like 70% original size, with white boarders around it.
On the plus side, unlike other pdf creators, you can change the page length to anything you want, being able to capture a whole webpage on one pdf page to avoid content cuttoffs is very handy.
Classic Toolbar Buttons [Tb24-58] (discontinued)
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Have been looking for a button/UI tweak plugin to reproduce the look ive got on my default FF install, modified by a theme plugin long since forgotten that gives the buttons and spacing layout a clean minimalist style, so been looking for alternatives for a new install and Classic Toolbar Buttons fits the bill pretty well. Cant get the same look id hoped, but offers some really nice alternatives, like the rounded address/search boxes, and alotof variation choice. Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 stars
As well as searching archive.org as advertised, also lets you search the wayback machine (web.archive.org) if you paste in a url address, and its the only search engine plugin that can afaik.
Three others claim to, but use the wrong output syntax causing special characters to get encoded into hex values like :// into 3A2F2F etc, giving invalid address'.
And even tho theres a couple other plugins like 'Resurrect Pages' that can lookup wayback machine of dead pages, they cant if it gets redirected, so a search engine plugins more useful
