Version 1.29a works fine but taking Mozilla an absolute age to release it. Very annoying to get update requests time after time and day after day to 'upgrade' from version 1.29a to version 1.29 which does not work.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.9).  This user has a previous review of this add-on.

Turning automatic update off would help.
Open Add-ons Manager (menu > Tools > Add-ons), open Confirm-Address's detail page and press "Off" radio button of Automatic Updates.
