First I saw the Speed Dial feature with the slim Open Source Browser "Midori" (V0.2.4, 0.2.6 is the recent version).With Midori, you get the "speed dial" every time a new (empty) tab is opened... and I thought "wow! How neat! I want that as Firefox Plugin"...
(sadly, Midori so far supports no FFx plugins, then I would use it as 2nd browser)
It seems, with this plug in, a new emty tab is still just a empty tab and you have to open it via its own button.

My firefox started getting VERY SLOW I disabled all extentions except this one, still super slow. had to finally uninstall firefox, one of my speed dials kept throwing a box on my screen that i needed to download the latest version of adobe flash, but i had the latest version. finally ended up going with chrome as I could not get this error to go away...loved the extention but will wait until all bugs are worked out

This addon is great.. or i would say was great, I loved it as i could uninstall others but not this one. But there is a problem with this addon, its leaking Memory. Without using this one my firefox is taking like 100-120M always. and using this one, firefox initially starts with 100M, but after some time it becomes like 400 then 500 then finally 600M.. !! i dont know the reason, please fix this bug if its really a bug or do i need to do anything with my firefox to solve it..?? thanks once for this addons.

I really like the add-on, but today I installed Firefox 4 Beta (I've also got the newest Opera browser installed on my laptop) and I noticed that Firefox is transparent (like the new Opera) but the Speed Dial background is still gray.. It would be great if it was completely transparent and if it was possible to add an own background.

Looking for an alternative to another speed-dial-like add on that doesn't do what it's supposed to (won't drag and drop) installed this, LOVED it, until I realized that it apparently doesn't scroll. So if you use a large set of thumbnailed bookmarks like I do, you're S.O.L. unless you can handle them being 30-40px high. (my current plug in displays them at 300w x 200h -40 rows). This one has great potential, but gets a D- due to it's lack of such a basic function. Looked all through the settings and came up empty on an adjustment that'll fix this -looks like I could make several "speed dial groups" but who would want to do that after having them all on one page? This plug in needs to handle more than one page with 12 thumbnails -without- making me nav to another page or folder before I consider it to be worth using. Looks great otherwise...

About Speed Dial groups, you could move them quite fast by right clicking on a dial and then using "Move to Group".
Anyways, I realize that scrolling could be put there as an option; I'll keep it in mind as a future improvement.

This is a must have add on. Simple and easy to use. Greater flexibility than an other add on that performs a similar function. Saves tons of time navigating to your most used web sites. I use this more than an other add on. Thank you.

I was looking for a Firefox equivalent to josorek's Speed Dial for Chrome. While I give props to the author of this ff add-on for making a very powerful and customizable tool, I have to say it's overcomplicated and not very pretty. Despite lots of playing around with thumbnail resolutions and options, they still look ugly. I urge the author to stop developing features and start working on aesthetics.

Good, but would be even better if it was possible to assign some "dials" to most visited sites automatically like google chrome.

Speed dial si slow on opening new tabs when a background image is used. It's irritating when you need to wait a second for tab to load.

Give an option to save the dials and settings online, like we can synchronize bookmarks online and can get it back the same i am not able to do.
