Hi, again, Lumox!
Is there a tracking bug for the WE API features needed for Save Images, or are you going to abandon it?

EDIT: What are the specific bugs blocking SI?

There is no tracking information. I would like to convert it to Web Extensions, but they are still limited in their functionality.

Has Mozilla expanded WebExtensions' feature support enough so you can port SI? If not, do they intend to, or will SI truely be dead as of FF 57?

Currently no, not until the Firefox developers have added a lot more functionality to their web extension API's. Without more functionality, Save Images will become virtually useless with most options being removed.
And I am not going to make it e10s compatible and then have to rewrite my addon again to make it into a web extension.
