FileLink provider for WebDAV

I'm using this on Linux Mint/Thunderbird - but the link that the extension creates for the email message window ends with the uploaded filename, and when the link is activated, my HiDrive fails to find the file even though it uploaded fine.
To use this, I have to pause when the file is uploaded to HiDrive, go to HiDrive, find the file, right click to "share" and copy the share link back to the original email - which rather defeats the purpose of having the extension.
Is this a problem with the extension or with my IONOS HiDrive (which supplies the WRONG upload url just to make life even more complicated)?
How do I configure?
I could find absolutely zero documentation and IONOS aren't interested either even though I have a paid account.
