@johnsmithbisley: I've juste tested with TB 3.0.4 (fr). It behaves as expected. I strongly suggest you to uninstall any version, restart TB, make sure it's uninstalled then reinstall.
For better experience for everybody, i also suggest you to post messages for JPEG Image Resizer on dedicated thread, not this one ;).

For users of this extension (v0.2.4), please note i have fixed some bugs in this version: AutoResizeJPEG 0.3.4 (https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/thunderbird/addon/111667).
