This is a necessary plugin to display Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Suite workspace version 11.1.2.2 in Firefox 10+. Unfortunately once installed I could not find a way to programmatically detect its presence as a plugin. For example it is not listed as a plugin in Windows Registry or in file system (that I could detect). Remote XUL Manager 1.1.1.

Are you trying to programmatically detect the presence of Remote XUL Manager? You just need to look for remotexulmanager@xulforge.com.xpi, which should be located in [Profile Folder]/extensions.
