Copy Plain Text

I am running XP-Pro and Firefox 3.6.3, and I have the problem with it freezing when I click on the Options button in the Extensions window. Click Tools/Add-ons, then click on the Extensions symbol, select "Copy Plain Text", then click on the "Options" button. That some people do not have this problem must indicate some differences in system or Firefox configuration.

Further, I do not get a new menu item in my context menu to copy plain text, so the extension doesn't work at all for me.
