Download the .xpi file here by right-clicking on the "Add to Firefox" button. Unzip the .xpi file with Winzip or other archive manager and open the install.rdf file with a text editor such as Notepad or gedit. The SeaMonkey entry is identifiable as {92650c4d-4b8e-4d2a-b7eb-24ecf4f6b63a}. Change the maxVersion value from the default 2.0.* to 2.8.* or 2.9.*, re-zip the archive and change the file name extension from .zip to .xpi. Open the file with SeaMonkey and it will install without a problem.

User Agent Switcher doesn't make your Mozilla-based browser work like Microsoft Internet Explorer, but it will fool "snob" sites that don't even want to let browsers other than MSIE in the door. I can accept that my browser may render the page differently, but please don't bar entry completely. Useful tool.
