WorldIP - Geo Add-on with Security Features

5 つ星中 5つの評価を受けています

A great addon, a must-have every time I install Firefox. However, I am confused by why Facebook (IP: 31.13.72.20) shows a question mark for a flag and says that it's a "New or Internal Network", with a Country Code of XX !!!

Thunderbird Conversations

I liked the look of this addon and installed it. Initially it did what I expected and hoped but then I hit a problem. For security, I set all messages to initially download only the headers. If I want to go on a read the rest of a message I then click: "Download the rest of the message". However, although the status line states the message has been downloaded, it doesn't display in the tab. I have to close the tab and then reselect the message in order to get the message text displayed.

I reported this as a bug to the author and he replied that he does not and has no plans to support message header only downloads. Consequently this addon has little value for me and I have removed it. Pity!

Buttons!

Lee, you know, I noticed that yesterday but I didn't associate it with Buttons!. I closed TB, reopened it and then carried on editing from Drafts and everything was fine! I'm using TB5, WindowsXP SP3.

Updating the MaxVersion of the install.rdf file in the xpi package to 5.0 seems to work. I have just reinstalled with this mod and no problems so far.

Seems like most developers are way behind with updating their add-ons for Thunderbird 5, and Buttons! is no exception. However, as the extension package format is identical to Firefox, thought I'd give updating the install.rdf file of the xpi package MaxVersion parameter to 5.0 and try installing to see what happened. Seems to work OK!
