I used to and love Enigmail in daily use. But today I upgrade my thunderbird to 3.1.7 (Shredder Linux_x86_64-gcc3) and it cannot use anymore. Many mails are gpg encrypted and I cannot read anymore.

The official release of Enigmail only supports the officially supported platforms by MozillaMessaging (which does not include 64-bit versions for Linux). A contributed 64-bit version for Linux is offered as contributed builds at http://enigmail.mozdev.org/download/index.php.html.
