Okay, me again. I updated to FF8 and redox addon was not working straightaway or with addon compatibility reporter. Had to remove plugin and then do the following:
1. Download latest mozgest 3.2pre.
2. Change xpi to tgz and unpack. In the install.rdf file change the maxVersion parameters from a 7 to something higher...I used 11. Save file and repack all contents as zip and change extension to .xpi. Drag and drop .xpi to FF8 and it should be working.

This addon is so simple and perfect. Very happy with it...but pleeeeeeeeeeease keep it updated. I don't like having to install the "addon compatibility reporter" addon to get it to work with FF8.

This is a great addon, but it seems development has slowed or stopped. Installing for latest FF releases is always a pain in the *ss.
The only reason I use this one is for its diagonal gesture support. I am using on FF3.6.23 and it works great.

Tried them all and this one is the best. Not sure what the deal is with the author and Mozilla's AMO (don't even know what AMO means).
All I know is this extension rocks! So go to the website and install for latest FF.

It's kind of buggy in FF3 but I'm too lazy to switch to Firegestures because then I have to redo all my gestures. Hopefully the bugs will get worked out of this one because I've really gotten used to it.
The main issue I'm having is that my gestures suddenly stop working on certain tabs which is extremely ANNOYING.
