I need to be able to toggle my work proxy on my laptop fairly often. This does exactly what it says. I will try the alt-x shortuct, because this is the only thing left on my status bar, if that works then I will have no status bar at all anymore.

I've been using this extension for years, it's one of many reasons firefox is superior to any browser for me. However, with firefox 4 out of beta, I was hoping there would be a button for the toolbar - this is the only thing left in my Addonbar, and on my desktop it's fine but on my netbook, I can't afford to waste pixels. I added Toolbar Buttons 1.0 that does provide a toggle button for turning on my proxy, but occasionally it fails at turning it back off, so I need to turn on the Addonbar, click Toggle Proxy, and turn off the Addonbaragain. Quicker than tools -> options -> advanced -> network, but just barely!

Thanks for your review, it prompted me to add a shortcut key (alt + x) in version 1.3, hope this is what you were after?
