This is an excellent extension when your searches are always confined to specific folders. But it frequently happens that emails are "filed" incorrectly (a result of human error) and then certain emails are outside the scope of the standard Thunderbird search. Quite a bit of a nuisance, when searches are structured to locate "trouble and hot spot" emails. The SavedSearchThemAll add-on is very useful to extent already saved searches to include all existing email folders.
