Inline Image Paste Plus fixes a common Thunderbird compose annoyance, when copying images from web pages, Thunderbird often pastes only the image URL instead of embedding the actual image.
This add-on detects when an image is present on the clipboard and inserts it into the message as a real inline image instead of a link. A toolbar menu lets you control how images are inserted, preserve transparency with PNG, convert to JPG with a white background, or use an automatic mode that chooses the best format.
The extension works entirely locally inside Thunderbird and does not send or collect any data.
