This is a plugin based on the excellent Dictionary Switcher by Dao Gottwald but it uses a markov chain instead of counting the number of misspelled words in each language. It is about 4000 times faster and it provides a few customization options so that you can choose which dictionaries to switch between and to enable automatic dictionary detection.
After changing the dictionaries to use in the extension options, you might need to restart Thunderbird to exclude all the other dictionaries from switching.
