Right-click any text in an email to search your computer using Voidtools Everything.

Instantly search your local computer for any text inside your emails.
This extension bridges the gap between Thunderbird and Voidtools Everything (the fastest file search tool for Windows).
Use Case:
You receive an email referencing an Invoice Number, a Project Code, or a Client Name. Instead of manually opening your search tool and typing it in:
1. Highlight the text in the email.
2. Right-click and select Search in Everything.
3. The Everything window launches immediately with your files found.
⚠️ CRITICAL SETUP REQUIRED
For this extension to work, you must enable the "URL Protocol" in your Everything settings. This allows the extension to "talk" to the desktop application.
1. Open Everything on your computer.
2. Go to Tools > Options.
3. Click the General tab on the left.
4. Check the box labelled URL Protocol.
5. Click Apply and OK.
Note: This extension requires the Voidtools Everything application to be installed on your Windows PC. It is not affiliated with Voidtools.
