Great for banishing those "share bars" that so many news sites are using to clutter up webpages. Select - type "S" - and they are gone.

Slow to up date for new versions of Firefox. Unable to fill in forms in most pop-up windows (which are being used increasingly). When I use Roboform to log in, it usually then prompts me to create a new passcard (identical to the one I just recalled and use); annoying.
I've used Roboform for several years (and paid for it). It has been a great convenience but they just aren't keeping up. Meanwhile Firefox's ability to save log-in info is getting better and more useful.

I recently reintalled FF and my add-ons, including CS. Now there's no Block List (exceptions). There is no point to this add-on without the Block List. Don't bother getting it now.

I hate going to a website and having it start to play audio I haven't asked for. This is a great idea. One suggestion: Some sites use Flash graphics and this extension blocks them as well. There is a Whitelist but you have to the Add-ons window to access extension options. It would be better to be able to add items to the Whitelist from the status bar (ideally by checking "add this site" like you can disable Ad-Block for a site).

I've been running Fasterfox for a long time. I didn't notice any difference in web page loading speeds but I figured it couldn't hurt. I was wrong. While trying to troubleshoot an unrelated problem in Safe Mode, I noticed Google Maps were updating much faster. I did some trial and error, and it was Fasterfox that slowed the responses.
It's also been 19 months since the last update, which makes me wonder if this extension is still being actively supported. No update yet for FF3.

I've been waiting for an update to fix Notifier's log-in problem with Firefox3b5.
It's been updated but the problem is not fixed.

I appreciate this extension.
I have had no problems in Firefox 2.0.0.13 and none in Firefox 3 Beta 4. But now I can't log in under Beta 5 (although the download icon shows green in Beta 5).
I get the following error message:
- Invalid username/password combination. If you continue to get this error, try entering your email address as your username.
After I attempt to enter my username/password, I find myself logged out of My Yahoo! and Yahoo! Mail.
I've reinstalled the extension and tried using the "alternate method" (no response).
I noticed Yahoo! Mail Notifier was updated after Beta 5 was posted yesterday to allow the extension to be installed under Beta 5 so the new code may be where the problem is, or maybe in the changes in javascript made for Beta 5.
YMN was five stars before but not anymore (until this problem is fixed).

Nice feature (the one thing I like about Opera brought to Firefox) but never got the Speed Dial page displays to update - kept showing same old, same old pages unless I refreshed manually. Needs auto refresh.

This add on makes the search box (and address box) easily re-sizable. If you wish the search box weren't so small, this is for you. An update is needed for Firefox 2 (but you can tweak the add-on yourself, a minor inconvenience). Too bad more people haven't found this add-on.
