Exactly the extension I needed, unfortunately the "Start/continue moving when Thunderbird starts" option does not keep its setting after a successful run.
I use this extension to move messages from the Inbox/Spam folder back to Inbox because I cannot get rid of the antispam filter set by the mail provider (libero.it).
Is it possible to start the mover _every time_ I start TB without right-clicking on the Spam folder and clicking "Move messages with Message Mover"?

The "Start/continue moving when Thunderbird starts" option is useful when you want to move zillions of messages from folder A to folder B: you want to move all of them, even if you restart your computer and/or Thunderbird.

If instead you need to *always* move every message from folder A to folder B it's better to use a Thunderbird filter.

Didn't do anything.
Seemed to not even start.
Have set the source folder (virtual folder) as well as the local folder.
Norecognizeable activity.

It's a bit too silent. In a very large (18k messages) move between servers, it stops functioning, with no feedback/logs as to why. After pressing "stop" its UI remains frozen.

I've moved more than 100K messages without any issue...

A lot better then Thunderbird message moving feature.

I tried to use Thunderbird native move feature but it couldn't deal with 17K messages...

This extension did it, slowly but steady.

Actually it runs only 1 time and ends with the latest message. The pref to auto run at TB Startup is not saved. It really would necessary that it's running continously, non stop as messages are added to a folder. TB Filters only runs in the main folder. Your extension runs with sub folders, that's why important.

Works fine, I have just one "problem", it doesn't move sub folders, it makes a copy, I believe the original folder should be moved (source deleted)

I understand your point, but when using it to archive messages (in my case on local folders), I have to delete all the folders manually. Perhaps, a checkbox to explicitly delete the sub folders?

Deleting folders would lead to problems: what if you have filters that move new incoming messages to those folders?

That's why MessageMover only move messages, without touching the folders.

Start button is all the way at the end of the options page and requires scrolling before I can move the messages. Could the start button be placed nearer the top so scrolling can be avoided?

Excellent job, request accomplished. Right click on folder is done. Same would be very practical to be valid if a specific email in a folder is selected and we have to move it to another folder. TB default is a little cumbersome and time consuming.

Nope, I won't support moving a single message. This extension is meant to move all the messages of a folder (and optionally of its sub-folders).
