The problem with this approach is that any first tab customizations stored in tabInfo will also be lost.

The MoreLayouts extension also has an option to not restore tabs.

J'ai fait comme les personnes âgées de mon entourage : j'ai cliqué sur : Courrier entrant et j'ai ouvert un message, cela m'a donné un onglet. J'ai re-cliqué sur : courrier entrant et sur un deuxième message et cela m'a donné un deuxième onglet. Et plein de fois comme ça donc j'ai eu plein d'onglets. Et puis j'ai tout fermé avec la croix ad-hoc ou avec Alt + F4. Et quand j'ai relancé thunderbird, miracle, les onglets avaient disparu. C'est exactement ce que je souhaitais ! Bravo à vous !
