This deserves another post. I did some further looking for servers and services that support syncml. Since AOL, Google are beginning to support syncml and more mail servers are as well, Thunderbird is well positioned to be a very strong alternative to Outlook. This should be very high on the developers list as a must.

This could become the "I don't need Exchange and Outlook" convincer. This should be a high priority project and Carlos should at least get a medal for outstanding service to the world. I have used it to sync TB with my companies mail server, Smartermail, which includes support for SYNCML, and my Blackberry. When Tunderbird 3 is out this will just absolutely kick but.

This addon seems to take care of the multiple master password prompt as Firefox starts. HOORAY.
