This is a great addon for thunderbird/lightning. It also works quite well for if using 3rd party Task Gadgets such as RTM or Toodledo. It works behind a corporate firewall, where I have had issues with the google provider or caldav solutions.

I am with BWRic, and update to work with the newest Thunderbird and Lightning would be awesome.
