Accent Letters collects nothing.

There is no account or sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. We do not sell or share information about you, because we do not have any.

Your messages. Inserting a letter only ever ADDS one character where your cursor is. The add-on does not read the message you are writing, does not read your mailboxes, contacts, accounts or settings, and has no way to send any of it anywhere.

Network. There is none. All 682 letters are a file inside the add-on (data/letters.json), so it works with no connection. The add-on makes no request to any server, including ours. The only links are ordinary ones you choose to click, which open accentletters.wiki in your browser.

On your computer. The letters you mark as favourites, and the ones you used most recently, are kept in Thunderbird's own extension storage on that computer so the popup can show them again. They never leave it.
