Suggestion: This would be much more convenient if the contact would be displayed in the preview window as soon as a contact is selected. I'm referring to the mail preview window; when a contact is selected in the sidebar then just display it in the preview window.

This used to work. I upgraded to TBird 2.0.0.16 and the add-on no longer works. In fact when this addon is enabled it hides all msg headers.
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
