Hint for next version:
You need to grab the URL from where Firefox gets it.
For example if I'm using IETab AddOn Firefox keeps showing the URL in the status bar (I dont know how).

Your addon doesn't work when IETab is activated.
but if you get the URL from where Firefox's gets it, I'm pretty shure it will work
