This addon is better than the built in version in tb91. It appears tb91 only counts unread emails in primary folders (inbox) and does not include sub-folders. Many of my emails are filtered into such sub-folders, making the built in almost useless.

I don't mean to minimize the author's work, but it's pretty useless to me. I have many subfolders in my 4 inboxes, some of them important, some of them not. "Only count Inboxes" is simply not usable. The way it should have been done from the very beginning is scanning all active accounts for the whole folder hierarchy and allow the user to un/check each individual folder.

And remove the hardcoded colors on the options page, the text is not visible on white-on-dark color schemes. It should follow Thunderbird's colors.

This would be the single most useful add on Ive found in a long time you don't have to open the email reader to see if new mail has been received.

Latest version did not automatically update, but after uninstalling and installing the latest version it works great in Thunderbird 78.4 Must have extension.

Thanks for updating to TB78 but it's not working on my system.
I have several accounts in one profile but never see any badges.

What a great addon! It's working perfectly on my system and the configuration options to just show unread badge for mails in inbox folders is perfect.

Better than pale and mostly invisible standard tray icon. Very useful. But seems it does not working in TB 78.3.1. Please-please-please make it working again.

Worked as advertised back in the day, Now, with v78.x, it does not work at all. I reinstalled it, restarted it, but nothing. Too bad, I liked it a lot and it was very useful to me when it worked.

Nice extension usually. But needs updating? Doesn't show as being incompatible with Thunderbird v78.x but doesn't appear to work either.

Not very good. When you have multiple accounts, especially POP accounts, the Inbox - Local Folders shows triple the number for all POP accounts. IMAP - works okay. POP - No.
