Works perfectly with Thunderbird 9 !
Very useful to speed up answering, because it permits to replace a keyword into a long text. I use it for my sales contacts, to write standard/common text quickly.
You can download thunderbird 9 for linux from http://download.cdn.mozilla.net/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/9.0/linux-i686/it/thunderbird-9.0.tar.bz2

A suggestion for the author: you've written a very good and useful extension, but if now you've no time to support it, it's better that you open it to new developers. Thank you anyway.
