Thank you very much, I've been away for a few days and can now say: version 96.7 installed on Nov 8th did solve the issues. Thanks for the fast reaction.

after deactivating/activating Cardbook just to send one mail the contacts (or better said the addressbooks) are lost (remote addressbook on Synology). With 95.3. categories and mail sending is not working.

after the available 95.5, a new version is instance of approbation which fix most the known bugs (95.6 here :https://addons.thunderbird.net/fr/developers/addon/cardbook/versions/2491083)
