Caution to Firefox 23.0.1 users..
Once again; an intellectually challenge individual or individuals at Mozilla decided for us.
To eliminate the keyword.url preference in Firefox 23. Causing this add-on to malfunction on my PC.
Your best bet to get it back.. ?
Is the new keyword.URL Hack! extension...
For now... I am sticking to El Zorro (deFuego) version 22.0.
Last Straw:
Because I refuse to let these intellectually challenge individuals. Dictate my browser preferences, and I simply refuse to lose any more of my favorite extension.
And yes I got Ixquick working again.!

The solution is simple…!!
Ixquick…..!!!!...
As of January 28, 2009, Ixquick no longer records users' IP addresses at all.
Google is major violator of Internet user’s privacy. They are second only to other greedy “foreign [Non-U.S.]” corporations, Sun, Adobe and Micro$oft..!!!.. and, who would have thought that so many people would install their web- browser Chrome (Spyware), while at the same time, chastise our beloved “Zorro” (de-Fuego)...
For the non-Castilian readers in this forum, it means Firefox.
Amazing that a company from the Netherlands, is the only one actively fighting for our Internet privacy and Internet freedoms.

It is abusive that Mozilla changes the qui and styles of buttons without the option of maintaining the appearance of a user’s preference and theme ...
I consider myself lucky to have found this add-on.
Please note: I’m talking about Theme and “not” personas...

Work-around..!!
If a FF 8.0b user does not see the Icon in the bottom (Add-On toolbar)... After Display Option (tab) is selected..??
Simply Click in empty space on Navigation toolbar...>> scroll to...Customize...Select and hold ....CheckPlaces (Icon)...>>...Drag and drop... into ...>>>...Add on Tool Bar (bottom/right) of Browser window...and... Release...
Do this only if;
Display Option (tab) is selected, but does not appear in Add-on toolbar...
The reason for the necessity of quick access to Check places is simple ..?..
Although this add fixes Bookmarks and Icons a periodic function.
It's other function...Cleaning and Compacting your database in Firefox. Is indispensable...!!!
This will keep FF working smoothly and faster...
Something that should be done more periodically or at least a minimum of 2 times a week...
Only. Place a check on::?..
Place Option (tab)
1.database
2.compact
... and you have a very nice cleaning utility tool for Firefox that is very usable...

This add on is the missing component to Fix Links and Icons repairs in Firefox's Bookmark folders..
For many years I have relied on AM-Deadlink alone to fix my Firefox bookmarks.
However AM-Deadlink chooses to" favor " M$ Internet Explorer with more efficient options like Icon replacements, ect....
I still relay on AM-Deadlink (FreeWare) to find bookmark errors in firefox.
But, after installing this add-on Only 5 errors were identified by AM-Deadlink sofware...Amazing...
And now..!!!
When a Firefox update or some other update affects my bookmark Icons.. I "no longer".. have to open "All" my bookmark "individually" to get Fav Icons...
Again this is a great add-on..
FYI:: to developer..
On Firefox 8.0b..
The Check option menu is not visible in Bookmarks menu.. However,,!!!..Iit is visible in the Organize Bookmark menu bar..
This is a very minor inconvenience.. But your add-on is still a very Strong 5 star in my opinion... I am using FF 8.0b.. so just view this inconvenience as a an Addendum..only
