I use Ubuntu 10.04LTS and have the thunderbird stable PPA set up so that it always has the latest Thunderbird available to download, hence Thunderbird 5. So I did update to the latest Thunderbird 5 a few days ago. Since then when a reminder has been set up prior to Thunderbird 5, the reminder popup dialog doesn't want to be popped up at any date/time I give it. For example I have a reminder to go to the bank on Thursday but have set up the reminder to remind me every 2 hours/day, it falls over with an error....something has gone funny there cos this error used to do that with version 3nn. Wish I was using an earlier Thunderbird with last lightning version as that was working great.....with 5 stars at the time.

I went to Enigmail's website (http://enigmail.mozdev.org/) and went to the Downloads page - loaded the appropriate version for the appropriate platform, e.g. x86_64) and the version of Thunderbird you're using, e.g. 3. It worked!

It does show that Thunderbird is not installing the correct Enigmail version into Thunderbird application properly
