For everyone who is criticizing the plugin for not working anymore. It is a general problem with firefox that you cannot login. People with another gmail plugin called "Gmail Notifier" are facing the same problem.

I tried to logon to gmail from within firefox itself and that was not possible either. Chrome, Internet Explorer & Safari all just work fine. Itøs just firefox which is unable to even handle the http://gmail.com request.

Funny enough I believe it all happened after the latest windows update, if I recall it rightly.
