always ".com" - Google.com (in English)

評分: 4 / 5 顆星

It does what it says. My only issue is a similar Google in English search add-on [Google (Language: EN) posted by Jeremy Morton] which existed before this one was released, and I like that one more. I've tried both. I see a small difference in an extra line of text (useless), but the search were always results are identical. The reason I prefer the other one is that the icon is different than the usually Google search engine icon, which makes it easier to distinguish. At the time of writing this, version 20091121, has the same icon, so I get them mixed up.

此意見為舊版本 (20091121) 的附加元件。

I think Everyone should rate this 5 STARS, because it does exactly what it says. If you are in the US, it is pointless to use this, but if you are traveling outside of the US, "google.com" automatically becomes google in the country you are in, and you have to change it. If you hate cookies like I do [eliminate them on exit], your preferences won't be saved, and you need to change to Google in English every time. If you don't, you will get too many search results in different languages.

I'm not sure what portuguesemike is talking about. I tried his search that he posted and refers to, but I like this one more because I can distinguish the difference between the normal Google search and the English one, by the icon. His has the same icon so it is more confusing. The search results were the same every time for both search engines.

As for people who leave bad reviews, when they don't use the program... stop wasting people's time. If I listened to you I would never have tried this. Only leave bad reviews if the program has bugs, does not do what the description says, or is lacking, but not if you don't want to use it.
