I was hoping it would work for 4.0b1 but no luck. Hopefully there's an update soon. Good extension otherwise.
Re: Frédéric Jeanbart - There is no privacy issue. The master password prompt is because the extension stores a password for an optional FTP upload site. The developer might want to find a way to avoid the prompt unless the feature is being used though, since others will also be concerned about privacy.

A request was made to compare Extension List Dumper and InfoLister. I give both 5 stars, here is my comparison in some detail:
Brief Comparison of Extension List Dumper (ELD) and InfoLister (IL):
1. The biggest difference between these 2 extensions is that ELD works in the extensions (add-ons) window and generates an output file, and IL sits on the Tools menu (by default, this is configurable) and displays a list any ordinary FF window. IL can also generate an output file, that's an extra step, albeit very easy.
2. ELD allows you to specify all, enabled, disabled, incompatible. IL allows you to specify extensions, themes, plugins.
2. Both can save in various formats ... txt, html, BBCode. ELD offers csv, IF offers xml, xpi list, XML, XML+XSLT. IL allows for use of custom templates.
3. Both highlight disabled extensions. For me, IL does this in a more visible way, with "[Disabled]" appearing to the right enough to stand out nicely.
4. If you select HTML in ELD, then both provide links, where available.
5. ELD enables inclusion of the extension description.
6. IL provides the ability to upload via ftp, http, https, and to do so automatically on exit (presumably from FF, I did not test this feature.)
7. ELD offers buttons to print and copy to clipboard.
Well, I hope I haven't missed too much. Thanks to both developers, both extensions appear to me to work flawlessly. I actually have both installed, precisely because one works in the UI, the other in the extensions window. So I can get a list from anywhere.

Good, but you don't need this if you have MRTech Toolkit installed.

Great little tool! Easily view all Add-ons and themes and the versions of them.

The only thing I like better about Extension List Dumper is that I can have it include the Description of the add-on.

Очень полезное расширение! Собрался переходить с 2 на 3 версию браузера, на двойке установлено множество расширений, нужно будет и найти соответствующие и для новой версии. Вот тут то и пригодился InfoLister - сформировал списочек установленных, запустил тройку и ставь новые расширения.

This wonderful add-on is almost impossible to find doing a search and its name hardly gives a clue as to what it does. Thank goodness I have found it.

What a beautiful little application! Install it, then click on Tools (on the Mac) and Infolister is on the menu. Pop it up and see a list of all your Firefox themes, extensions and plugins, including their Enabled/Disabled status. Plus, the names are links. Click, and jump to the developer's page. Make a copy of the list, and have the ability to restore your Firefox customizations even after a reinstall! Beautiful work, Nickolay! Functional, elegant, and useful.

Excellent, and I prefer it over Extension List Dumper: it displays list items as hyperlinks and you can save as HTML, which is very handy when sharing that list whith others or use it when installing/reinstalling FF/TB.

Why is this extension so big: 166 KB?

2/3 of size are localizations (translations of the strings to other languages), I also don't go out of my way to make it smaller (lots of code comments in there, not using compression techniques I could use).
