I had to adjust the settings first to get a good (better) result though.

I would prefer a solution without a trigger key, but a main switch appearing in the status bar. If you have another shortcut intensive programm (e.g. Photoshop) running, you'll get in trouble.
odd thing: CTRL-ALT-M opens another instance of firefox
