This Add-On is the final element to make Thunderbird a true Outlook replacement. When combined with:
Lightning and Zindus and using IMAP access to a Zimbra server you have a solution that can effectively replace Outlook. This specific Add-On allows Thunderbird to interact with other users using Outlook. Very well done.

Excellent Add-On. I use it to replace group and personal calendar functions of Outlook and Exchange when Thunderbird is teamed with Zimbra server. This makes the most significant add to Thunderbird and colaberates very well with DAV calendars from Zimbra. This is one of the three Key Add-Ons needed for Outlook replacement.
They are:
Lightning, Zindus and LookOut.

When configured properly this gives access to the Zimbra address books. Using this add-on combined with IMAP and Lightning allows using Zimbra and Thunderbird as a full featured PIM very similar to Outlook and Exchange without the cost. Now when I swap out computers, I no longer lose users mail, calendar or contacts. Love this as a part of the suite I described.
