Just now i've noticed a problem too.
left Clicking on the gmail manager, which usually brings up a gmail tab which will load and login automatically, now brings me to the gmail login page, with the username filled in as '@gmail.com' and nothing in the password.
It does not automatically log me in.
Recently before, I have noticed sometimes it does not keep current and inform me of emails.
