This add on looks perfect!
I have a bunch of aliases. Unfortunately none of them has a +.
Can you make the + an option?

Hello, thank you for your interest. I couldn't contact you anywhere else so I'm just going to contact you here.
I've added the requested feature, but if you could maybe test to see if it works the way you had imagined, that would be great! I added a link to the 1.1 beta version at http://blog.qiqitori.com/?p=194
After installing it, change extensions.replyasoriginalrecipient.use_plus to false in Thunderbird's config editor. If you notice any problems, let me know.
