It used to work great but now it still works but instead of saving the images as full sized it now saves them as thumbnail size. Did something change?

Nothing has changed. It saves the images that are visible on the webpage. If only thumbnails are visible, then that is what will be saved, not the image that the thumbnail links to. Email me plashcor@gmail.com with a more detailed explanation of how it used to work. Export your "Save Images" settings and send the file to me along with some of the web addresses you are trying to save images from.
