This works amazing. I like to use it to keep track of messages I've already replied to on my cell phone. Please implement this feature in the newest version of Thunderbird!

Sadly, this no longer works. It installs and initially shows emails as replied. But after restarting Thunderbird, the email is no longer marked as replied.
My Thunderbird version is: 68.10.0 (64-bit)

This is a great add-on, but unfortunately it's incompatible with the current versions of Thunderbird and SeaMonkey and its maintainer has disappeared: the web site is down and his email address bounces.
I've taken over maintenance of the add-on and created a new version which is compatible with current Thunderbird and SeaMonkey:

Should have been included as default with Thunderbird, but for some reason it is not. I converted recently from Eudora and was forced to fix errors in email messages because Eudora could not handle utf-8 properly. HeaderToolsLite addon came in handy, however that addon removes the 'replied to' arrow. ToggleReplied can easily add it again.

I wanted to add the option to mark messages as "replied". The add-on does exactly that - it's very useful.

This addon works well except it doesn't work in the "global inbox" folder. The option is there to toggle but nothing happens. I have to be in the account inbox for the replied icon to show up.

Could be useful sometimes, and then perfectly get the job done!
I wonder why it is not included by default.

Thank you too for this great add-on! I really needed the option of marking a message as replied. This add-on works perfectly with TB 10.0.
I will never understand why Mozilla doesn't implement such really little useful functions instead of implementing more and more nonsense things.

Thanks. Version 0.3.3 works fine with TB 6.0.1. It's just what I need to mark selected TB messages as 'Replied' or 'Forwarded' after the replying or forwarding was done outside Thunderbird (using webmail while away).
