This didn't work when I tried to add my existing remote calendars, because the section that tries to validate them always fails, even though I have all my passwords for those accounts. Perhaps it's not meant to work with email aliases?

Doesn't work, and I live in Los Angeles. Default location shown is Graz, AT. However, it doesn't allow me to type any other location, so I don't think it has to do with where I live. I've also messed with the C/F and the 3 providers, but still, it only gives me: "Please enter a valid query". Will look at the Github to see if there's any answers.

If you're using nexcloud/owncloud, it'll be a bit hard to set up, but you can do it. Refer to this Github Issue:

Once you get that out of the way, it should work, as it did for me.
