It's needless. You can only mark all messages in the currently viewed folder.
The standard shortcut CTRL-SHIFT-C is much faster and easier to use.
What i was searching for is a button or shortcut to mark definitely ALL messages read.
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
