Awesome! Until now I used Mozilla Notification Extensions (experimental). Both work fine, but I really like the customization options of this addon. Additionally I use Evolution Mirror to sync the Lightning calendar with the gnome clock applet.

Nice addon. It works, but it makes thunderbird (3.04) crash a lot. Using "Recover" makes it work again ... but some syncs later, it constantly crashes again. Very unstable in current status (at least for me).
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
