This add-on changes the way arXiv eprint listings (http://arxiv.org/help/subscribe) are displayed in Thunderbird. It adds direct links to the article PDF file hosted at http://arxiv.org/pdf/XXX.XXXX and to BibTeX information at SPIRES. It also adds inline BibTeX information that can by copied to the clipboard and pasted in reference managers such as JabRef. In this way the add-on enhances the process of importing new eprints.
