Sortana uses AI to help you sort, tag, and file your email with simple, natural‑language rules. Ask questions like “Is this a receipt?” or “Is this personal?” — if the answer is yes, Sortana does what you choose next.

- AI‑powered rules – write plain‑English, yes/no criteria. When a message matches, Sortana can tag, move, copy, forward, reply, delete, archive, mark read/unread, or flag it.
- Automatic or on‑demand – new mail is classified automatically, and you can also run rules on selected messages from the menu.
- Easy setup – paste the URL of your AI service (OpenAI‑style). Choose a prompt template for OpenAI, Qwen, or Mistral, or provide your own.
- Make it your own – add custom system instructions to guide the mode for your inbox and workflow.
- Fast with caching – results (and reasoning) are saved, so the same message isn’t re‑checked again. Clear the cache any time.
- See the “why” – open Details to view the model’s reasoning and which rules matched.
- Advanced controls – tune model settings like temperature, top‑p, and max tokens. Optional helpers can convert HTML to Markdown, remove tracking from links, replace images with alt text, and trim extra whitespace.
- Clean and helpful UI – light/dark theme support, status icons while processing, and a clear notification if something goes wrong.
- Maintenance & backup – see timing stats, queue info, and export or import your settings, rules, and cache.
