this wasn't for me, with a lot of different accounts already the way this sorted things out wasn't much to my liking. So I was quite pleased that on uninstall everything went back exactly as it was except marking a lot of read emails as unread.
Which means, give it a try,
Lightning

After installing Thunderbird 3 we now we know what the 0 in Lightning 0.9 means, it is pre-beta.. meaning we've lost our calender info for the moment. Until they catch up. There are compatible versions of this somewhere in the mozilla ftp site. Leaves me looking for something else that is stable and reliable.
