Thunderbird Conversations
Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I didn't have global inbox enabled for my IMAP accounts (3 accounts) before I installed this addon. When I installed this addon, it created the global inbox. When I uninstalled this addon, it didn't remove the global inbox (I read the FAQ btw). I don't want the global inbox, but I couldn't find a way to disable global inbox. I'm using Thunderbird 5.0. If anyone has any solution, let me know.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.4). This user has a previous review of this add-on.Thunderbird Conversations
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I'm using this addon for the last couple of weeks. It's a useful addon, but there are some bugs that annoys me.
1. When I get a new email prompt in my taskbar and when I click it, it takes quite a long time to bring the minimized Thunderbird window up.
2. When I use the Conversations reply window, I can't use bold or any other font changes.
3. Displaying the message when I scroll through the emails are slower than normal.
4. When I start Thunderbird fresh, it takes more time to display my emails than the default one takes.
5. Clicking Forward or any other option in the Reply drop down box opens the email in the new Window unlike GMail.
I hope those issues will be sorted in the future updates. It's a very good addon for people who like GMail.
Gmail Manager
Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I like GMail Manager and I'm using it for a long time. I run my Firefox in private browsing mode always and have unchecked storing 3rd party cookies and GMail Manager worked fine. After I got the updates today, when I click on my email account, I get the following message from GMail:
Your browser's cookie functionality is turned off. Please turn it on.
Not able to login to GMail from GMail Manager directly sucks.
