DownThemAll!
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Hello, we can imagine your frustration with Firefox as you described it. I use Seamonkey already since the end of Netscape, since it is the real Mozilla successor, including the mail client and WYSIWYG html-editor. Firefox is just a fork of it and you can't edit web page with it, only browse. Seamonkey has still a lot of the features you like, like big grouped navigation buttons etc. Is it possible for you to switch your support from Firefox to Seamonkey?
Only one issue: downloads with DownThemAll don't start in my installation of DownThemAll in Seamonkey. They do in Firefox. So now I have to use Firefox again. Can you fix that? :)

Thanks for the quick update David. The Britannica add-on works great again both in Firefox and Seamonkey. Cheers!

Dear David, the Encyclopædia Britannica add-on doesn't work anymore in Firefox and Seamonkey. We do arrive on the Britannica site but with an error message that the page does not exist. If we type in the same search query in the Britannica site, the right answer comes but with a different URL, so I guess this is where the problem lies. The URL for e.g. the query "mount sinai" the add-on uses is "http://www.britannica.com/bps/search?query=mount+sinai". The URL Britannica now uses is "http://www.britannica.com/search?query=mount sinai". Can you correct it? Can you check that it works in both Firefox and Seamonkey? Britannica is so much better than Wikipedia! Thanks! Han

Don't use it (version 1.2.20110411) yet. Although a potentially good add-on, ctrl-shift-c is used by Seamonkey mail to mark all your (perhaps years of) e-mail as read. Undoing this in Seamonkey does not seem to work. If you use IMAP as protocol, this marking is done immediate at server level and there is no way of undoing it, except perhaps asking your system administrator to reset all your e-mail. I've informed the author and asked him to choose another key combination for this much wanted program.
