I love this app, used it from the get go. but fire fox keeps making this app incompatible , not the first time. I wish this would stop happening. so many apps and themes have fallen by the wayside, one theme had 300,000 users, more actually, no longer. and , as someone else noted. Mozilla wants me to give more money, again. no more. I want this app,in particular, back and fast.
Edit: hour later....I just did a search for installing this forecast fox for versions after 29 i guess. I did have to make certificate exceptions which i had done in past but forgot. I am using Windows10 tech preview and just now installing FF 34.05 or whatever is most current non beta as of 1-2-15. it works fine and added to restore add on bar on the bottom. I did also add compatibility check as suggested below. no idea if it was necessary or not.
keeping the 5star forecaster fox but not for FF34. not since 28, i think , when all the good (to me) themes and some apps fell by the wayside as noted by disgust of creators with process. hundreds of thousands of followers yet no longer compatible. It is all far too advanced for me to grasp. I am just a typical end user who gets left with less control over look of interface not that the standard new ones are bad, just not what i like.

I have used and loved ForecasterFox for years through all major OS starting with MAC and now to Linux Mint/Ubuntu.
I automatically look for it in its place on top all my computers. I have had to stop auto update with FF (at 28) just to keep from losing this. Unfortunately, my Linux laptops just updated themselves as I am brand new into the X areas.
I find ForecasterFox so important to my browser ergonomics that i have taken out FF31 and gone backwards, just to keep Forecaster Fox.
Mozilla and firefox take note, please, and make it easier for these old and popular add ons to keep pace. seems to be too many qualifiers for many of the add ons to be compatible. Some are one man efforts and others may be done by groups and/or corps, No matter, just get this add on back and keep it, please. I miss it. Even if it may show a bright sun disk and out the window it is snowing or a deluge of water, I still depend on this add on, esthetics as well as function. I am not alone , either.

Not available in v30....just one more good app down
i have not used this fox fire anymote. or stay on the past versions. they are losing apps and more as they fo on toward a big business approach. i moved to this browser years ago due to its total support of open, new and interesting things. now, they are losing people, making demands that are not possible to keep for a single person to keep up with; there by eliminating those young and new ideas from growing and being introduced. i dont like the new look or the new direction
i do love forecaster fox and do not know where it got to. i waited a long time to move up from v28 to 30 and lost the favorite thing there was,

I loved this FF add on. I could never find a desktop version as good, so consequently, i had no desktop weather gadget, none came close so i click on old fox fire to see weather predictions. I have to join the crowd who miss the customize feature. I always used it and hope it can be brought back.
I like the new graphics mouse over pop ups, they add some refinement but would rather the customization option instead, if there were a choice.
Still worth a 5 , though.
